Cryptocurrency Zakat (modern scholarly view):

Generally treated like cash:

• ·Include current market value
• ·Add to your total zakatable wealth
• ·Pay 2.5% if total > Nisab

Steps:

1. Check balance on Zakat anniversary

2. Convert to your local currency (₨)

3. Add to other assets

4. Calculate 2.5%
