Joint Accounts & Zakat:
Each person calculates separately:
Husband:
- His share of joint account
- His personal accounts
- His gold/assets
Wife:
- Her share of joint account
- Her personal accounts
- Her gold/jewelry
If shared 50/50:
Each pays Zakat on their half
Example:
Joint account: 600,000
- Husband's share: 300,000
- Wife's share: 300,000
Each calculates Zakat on their share + their other assets
Spouses don't combine wealth for Zakat calculation.
