Livestock Zakat (Al-An'am):
Different rules apply:
Sheep/Goats:
- 40-120 = 1 sheep
- 121-200 = 2 sheep
- 201-399 = 3 sheep
Cattle:
- 30-39 = 1 calf (1 year old)
- 40-59 = 1 calf (2 years old)
Camels:
- Complex scale starts at 5
Conditions:
- Must graze freely (not fed)
- Not used for work
- Owned for full year
Modern backyard animals usually don't qualify.
